Let’s dig a little deeper
I have always believed I was put on this planet to help heal people, and that is a big reason why I have chosen to be an artist. I believe that there are very few things that can heal someone’s hurts more than music, theatre, and art.
The experience of sitting in a dark room with strangers and watching a story together is one of the most profound acts of empathy we can engage in, and that’s why I love theatre. Of course, it’s also fun to sit and forget your troubles for a time, laughing all the while. I hope to be able to bring some relief and joy to others through my performing and remind people that there is always goodness, light, love, and hope to be found.
I am currently apart of the Wyldewood Players, the comedic and historic acting troupe at the Sterling Renaissance Festival. Before that, I had the opportunity to stage manage and assistant direct Alice by Heart with Velvet Curtain Productions. At Oklahoma City University, I was apart of Spring Awakening (Wendla), She Loves Me (Customer 3), and Orpheus in the Underworld (Juno). Some of my absolute favorite past credits include Little Women (Jo U/S, Amy U/S) and Into the Woods (Cinderella).
